Stephen O'Connell

STEPHEN O’CONNELL is a core and founding member of Toronto/Brooklyn based performance collective bluemouth inc. From 1990 to 1997 Stephen was co-artistic director of Radix Theatre, a site-specific interdisciplinary performance collective in Vancouver. He was the co-founder of FREE FALL, a biennial festival in Toronto, Canada of new and interdisciplinary performance and Projet Projo in Montreal. Stephen co-created and toured bluemouth inc.’s internationally successful production DANCE MARATHON. In 2015 bluemouth premiered a new site-specific immersive performance entitled, It Come In Waves at the Toronto Pan American Games.
