Background

SpiderWebShow Performance is working to develop year-round visibility for FOLDA, an annual festival held both online and in-person in Kingston, Ontario.  

To do that we’ve created the following positions:

  • Marketing Strategist to develop the strategy,
  • Communications Coordinator to execute the strategy, and
  • Outreach Coordinator to build relationships locally in Kingston, with a focus on Accessibility and Inclusion.

Marketing Strategist

Goals:

  • Develop a year-round marketing plan within a fixed budget to attract audience members to the June 2023 online and in-person festival
  • Identify key target audiences for digital and in-person activities
  • Develop timeline and key quarterly targets
  • Outline digital and print advertising strategy
  • Identify key media and community partnerships
  • Identify key cross promotion opportunities
  • Work with Communication Coordinator to design social media engagement strategy

Project fee:

$5000

Communications Coordinator

Position details:

$25/hour, 30 hours/week

Position ends March 31, 2023

Goal:

Increase public awareness of FOLDA and SpiderWebShow through media and communications.

Position details:

$25/hour, 4 hours/week

Position ends March 31, 2023

Goal:

Outreach to Kingston-based social and community agencies with a focus on increasing the accessibility of FOLDA.
